I guess by now everyone including me heard about the unfortunate death of Shawnte Wells but I was unaware that I knew her ... Shawnte and I attended ISSN (beauty school) together here in Atlanta .. From what I knew about her she was very sweet and down to earth. I can't imagine she would've done or said anything that serious to deserve that ... Clayton County police identified a man who apparently shot his girlfriend Monday before driving to the Jonesboro cemetery and killing himself, police said.
Capt. Greg Dickens said David Wayne Price, 30, of College Park may have been despondent over the recent death of his mother. Price was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound at a Jonesboro cemetery where she is buried and where he also has a plot, Dickens said
When police went to Price’s home to notify relatives about his death, they found his girlfriend, Shawnte Wells, 25, suffering from a gunshot wound to her head, he said.
